Yarn Meter
	A new, affordable yardage counter is available for knitters, spinners and weavers. The Yarn Meter will accurately measure your yarns and threads when going from a swift or your spinning wheel to a ball winder. Knitters can get exact length of leftovers and partial skeins, spinners can get an accurate length of their skeins. The Yarn Meter measures lengths in feet rather than yards. Simply divide your measurements by 3 and you will have the amount of yards. The Yarn Meter measures 6" long by 2" wide and is 3�" high. It clamps easily onto a table or your wheel with a non-marking plastic clamp. This tool can handle yarns and threads of varying sizes. We use ours for winding fine thread onto a bobbin for weaving. Even while using a high speed electric winder the thread passed through the Yarn Meter without problems.
